The load pin
Replace one axle in your rigging with a load pin of the same dimensions, and see exactly what tension it is set to.
ReplacementWhat it replaces
A standard standing-rigging axle. The one you already fit, to the same dimensions, in the same place.
Nothing else changes: not the turnbuckle, not the chainplate, not the wire, not the setting. The rigging stays the yard's own. No part added, no housing to fix to the deck, no drilling into the boat.
How it is fitted
Like an axle. Cotter pin removed, axle taken out, load pin put in place, cotter pin replaced.
No special tooling, no extra dismantling, no training.
How it is read
The reading device is plugged into the load pin, the value is read, then it is unplugged.
The reading is immediate and is done on board, at the foot of the mast or at the chainplate. It requires no network, no account, no software to install.
SummaryWhat it does not require
- Power supply
- No power supply in the load pin. No battery to replace, ever.
- Radio emission
- No radio emission, so nothing to pair or reconfigure.
- Server, account
- No server, no account to create, nothing to renew every year.
- Software
- No software to install to read a value.
- Calibration
- Its calibration belongs to it: it is not kept by us, and reading it does not depend on any service we operate.
A fitted load pin can be read in complete independence. This point is developed on the Company page.

Cruising sailing yachts and catamarans. We work with rigging professionals, on new installations as well as re-rigging.
The first versions of the product have already been tested on cruising catamarans of 40 to 45 feet. Contact us with the reference you have in mind.
